After reading the revisions proposed by reviewer 3, we feel writing to you to underline that we disagree with the guidance provided for reviewing the data analysis. The most recent literature, we have repeatedly cited and reported, supports our methodological and statistical approach to the analysis. We would be very grateful if you could request an opinion on this matter from a different referee who could act as an arbiter in this impasse.
We believe that the analysis we conducted is correct, therefore, accepting the proposed revisions would mean distorting a work that was structured considering the proposed analysis as a strong and innovative point in the field of instrument validations in statistics.
We leave the decision on acceptance of our work to you.
