Tom is a 3 years old little boy. He used to live in New York with his parents but, his parents got a divorce because of domestic violence from his father a year ago. After that, her mother migrated to Vietnam. Incidentally, a document from a famous social researcher concludes that domestic violence is the most common reason of divorces.
Now, Tom lives with his mother in district 1, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. It is a very long distance from New York, where Tom's father is living. It costs about 1, 200 dollars and 2 days for flight from New York to Ho Chi Minh city. These problems divides Tom from his father. Tom's mother is a doctor working for a foreign hospital so she is very busy. She often left Tom with housekeeper at home. Tom usually felt bored because he gets nothing to do. He only has a dog as his friend. Tom's mother may not distinguish between her job and her normal life. Sometimes, Tom wants to play with his mother so he disturbs his mother when she is working, but she just ignores him.
Tom's father is a director of distribution for Apple. Apple's products dominates the US market and the company wants to distribute its products over the world, especially in new developing market in Asia like China, Vietnam, etc. After hearing disturbing news from his son, he decided to relocate to Apple's branch in Vietnam to care for his son, even though he has double salary in US.
